WHAT IS METRODOME?
Metrodome is a hemispherical sculpture made of vintage speakers and home stereo parts created by Twin Cities-based artist Nick Chatfield-Taylor.
Metrodome features 8 channels of audio such that a listener is entirely surrounded by and immersed within sound when inside the structure.
Metrodome lives in South Minneapolis in a clandestine location. DM a punk (me) for the address.
Metrodome will be activited with audio synthesis by IOSIS inspired by the pioneering work of Éliane Radigue, and with video synthesis by Shawna Lee and Chris LeBlanc for an 8 hour durational experience. Come for as long or as short a time as you'd like, we won't ask for money, all that we ask of you is that you respect the space and give it and the performance your attention.
SATURDAY AUGUST 22nd, 12-8 PM
DM A PUNK (ME) FOR THE ADDRESS
